This group was one of the first to highlight the importance of MC and DJ relationships. Run-D.M.C. (1984), became the first hip-hop group to achieve the Run-DMC Gold record.
The band’s logo features a strange Sans Serif typeface, probably Franklin Gothic, originally designed by Morris Filler Benton in 1902.
