Mama Mia! Is a 2008 Jukebox musical romantic comedy film directed by Felida Lloyd and based on a 1999 musical book of the same name by Catherine Johnson.

This film is based on the songs of the pop group ABBA. And it was released in the UK on July 10, in Germany on July 17, and in the United States on July 18.

It received mixed reviews from critics, who criticized inexperienced singers and campy tone. The film grossed $ 611 million worldwide on a budget of $52 million, making it the fifth highest-grossing film of 2008.
